If this setting is set to <On>, the machine can automatically switch between <Collate (Page Order)> and <Offset> for the finishing mode when originals are placed in the feeder. This is useful when making multiple sets of copies, because you do not need to remember to select the Finishing mode.
If a finisher is attached, <Collate (Page Order)> and <Offset> are set. However, if no finisher is attached, only <Collate (Page Order)> is set.
<Auto Recognize Original Orientation>
<Function Settings> <Copy>
If you set this setting to <On>, even if the orientation of the original you placed differs from the orientation set in the feeder, the image is rotated 90 degrees and copied according to the orientation of the original.
If you are enlarging LTR or STMT originals are enlarged onto 11" x 17" or LGL copy paper, Auto Orientation is not performed even if you select <On>.
Only the images of standard size originals up to LTR size can be rotated when the copy ratio is set to 100%.
<Select Color Settings for Copy>
<Function Settings> <Copy>
You can restrict the use of the color mode in <Select Color> when copying.
<Speed Priority for Copying from Feeder>
<Function Settings> <Copy>
You can give a priority to speed over accuracy when copying from feeder.
<Job Separator Between Groups>
<Function Settings> <Copy>
When copying two copies or more with <Group (Same Pages)> in <Finishing>, you can insert sheets between each page group. If you select <On>, select a paper source.
