Feeder Black Scan Speed/Image Quality Priority

You can set whether priority is given to scanning speed or to image quality when scanning the black and white original.

This function is available only if you are using the imageRUNNER ADVANCE C5255/C5250.

Press

(Settings/Registration).

Press [Function Settings] → [Common] → [Scan Settings].

Press [Feeder Black Scan Speed/Image Qlty. Priority].

Select [Speed Priority] or [Quality Priority].

IMPORTANT
This function is not available if you are scanning documents in black-and-white by using the platen glass. This function is not available if you are directly sending faxes in the Direct Sending mode. This function is available under the following conditions: When scanning originals in black-and-white from the feeder and copying When scanning originals in black-and-white from the feerder and storing in a mail box When scanning originals in black-and-white from the feeder and send at 600 x 600 dpi resolution or store at 600 x 600 dpi resolution to the Advanced Box, the Advanced Box of another imageRUNNER ADVANCE series machine, or memory media.

When scanning originals in black-and-white from the feeder and copying

When scanning originals in black-and-white from the feerder and storing in a mail box

When scanning originals in black-and-white from the feeder and send at 600 x 600 dpi resolution or store at 600 x 600 dpi resolution to the Advanced Box, the Advanced Box of another imageRUNNER ADVANCE series machine, or memory media.
