Feeder Jam Recovery Method

You can specify the method for restarting scanning of documents when a paper jam occurs in the feeder.

This function is available only if you are using the imageRUNNER ADVANCE C5255/C5250.

Press

(Settings/Registration).

Press [Function Settings] → [Common] → [Scan Settings].

Press [Feeder Jam Recovery Method].

Specify the following setting → press [OK].

Details of each item are shown below.

[From 1st Page]:	If a paper jam occurs in the feeder, scanning starts again from the first page of the document.
[From Suspnd. Original]:	If a paper jam occurs in the feeder, scanning starts again from the page of the document scanning was interrupted.

IMPORTANT
The [From Suspnd. Original] setting is disabled for the Fax and Scan and Send functions. If a paper jam occurs in the feeder, start scanning again from the first page of the document.
