Manually Setting the Fax Options

If the machine is connected by unidirectional communication, you must set the fax options (such as the fax board) attached to and installed in the machine manually.
1.
Open [System Preferences] → click [Print & Scan] (or [Print & Fax]).
2.
Select the fax you are using → click [Options & Supplies].
3.
Click [Driver] → configure the options installed in the fax.
IMPORTANT
Be sure to select only those options that are actually installed in the fax.
NOTE
If you are using Mac OS X 10.7 or earlier, check that the driver corresponding to the fax you are using is selected for [Print Using]. For the driver name corresponding to your fax, refer to the Readme file.
4.
Click [OK].
