IMPORTANT
You cannot press [Confirm Device Signature Certificate] if the certificate and key pair for adding a device signature have not been generated. For more information on the certificate and key pair for adding a device signature, see "Setting/Confirming a Key Pair and Device Certificate."

Confirming the Device Signature Certificate
This section explains how a general user can check the certificate required for sending a PDF or XPS file with a device signature.
You can only check the device certificate with the following procedure. For more information on how the administrator can confirm the key pair and device certificate information, see "Setting/Confirming a Key Pair and Device Certificate."
The following procedure can be performed when the Device Signature PDF/XPS function is available for use. For information on the optional products required to use the Device Signature PDF/XPS function, see "Optional Products Required for Each Function."
1.
Press (Settings/Registration).
2.
Press [Management Settings] → [Device Management] → [Confirm Device Signature Certificate].
To verify a certificate, press [Verify Cert.].
3.
Press [OK].
