Manual Stapling
0R9W-01K
If you print out paper without stapling it, you can use the optional Inner Finisher-G1 to manually staple the paper one set at a time.
The optional Inner Finisher-G1 is required to perform manual stapling.

1.
Insert the corner of the set of paper that you want to staple into the slit of the Inner Finisher-G1.
* Staple Button
Insert the set of paper straight in with the front side facing down.
The staple button lights when a set of paper is detected.
2.
Perform stapling.
Hold the set of paper with one hand and use your other hand to press the staple button.
Stapling is automatically performed when the time set in [Time Until Stapling Starts in Stapler Mode] elapses, even if you do not press the staple button.
NOTE
The time until stapling is performed after paper is detected can be changed in [Time Until Stapling Starts in Stapler Mode] in [Adjustment/Maintenance] (Settings/Registration). (See "Setting the Execution Time for Manual Stapling.")
3.
Remove the set of paper.
Remove the set of paper after the staple button light goes out.
If the message indicating it is OK to remove the memory media does not appear, repeat steps 2 and 3.

IMPORTANT
Manual stapling cannot be performed when a print job is being executed.
Print jobs received while performing manual stapling are executed after the staple operation is finished.
Paper stacks up to 1/8" (4 mm) thick can be stapled.
