Adjusting Paper Conveyance for 2-Sided Printing

This adjustment can be made if the corners of thin or plain paper fold or bend during double-sided printing.
IMPORTANT
This mode may affect paper feeding. Since increasing the value to a great extent may cause paper jams, adjusting the values in small increments is recommended.
1.
Press (Settings/Registration).
2.
Press [Preferences] → [Paper Settings] → [Paper Type Management Settings].
3.
Select the paper type that you want to edit from the list → press [Details/ Edit].
4.
Press [Change] for <Adj. Paper Convey. (2-Sided)>.
5.
Press [-] or [+] to adjust the paper conveyance → [OK].
You can also use the numeric keys.
NOTE
Judge corner-fold surfaces when the paper has been output into the output tray.
Adjust by matching to the paper face on which corner fold occurred.

When the corner folds to the front side
Press [-]
When the corner folds to the reverse side
Press [+]
