Adjusting the Saddle Stitch Position
If you notice that the saddle stitch position is not exactly in the middle of the booklet, you can make fine adjustments to the saddle stitch position of the custom paper type.
This mode is available if the Saddle Finisher-AN2 is attached. (See "Finisher-AN1/Saddle Finisher-AN2/Puncher Unit-BS1/Puncher Unit-BT1.")
IMPORTANT
This function is displayed only if the settings are made available by your local authorized Canon dealer. Even if this function is displayed, do not allow anyone to change the settings except for the system manager. For more information on changing the settings, contact your local authorized Canon dealer.
If both the saddle stitch position and fold placement are not aligned with the center of the paper, match the fold placement to the saddle stitch position according to <Adj. Saddle Stitch Fold Pos.>, and then adjust the saddle stitch position and fold placement according to <Change Fold/Stitch Position>. <Adj. Saddle Stitch Fold Pos.> adjusts only the fold placement, while <Change Fold/Stitch Position> adjusts both the saddle stitch position and the fold placement. For details on adjusting the position in which to fold the paper, see "Adjusting the Saddle Stitch Fold Placement."
