Loading Transparencies/Clear Film
0L3X-0L7
You can load the transparencies/clear film to the following paper source.
Paper drawers of the main unit
Stack Bypass-B1
POD Deck Lite-B1
Multi-drawer Paper Deck-B1
If the paper package has instructions about which side of the transparencies/clear film to load, follow those instructions.
When the transparency/clear film is loaded in the paper drawer of the main unit, the side facing down is the one printed on.
When the transparency/clear film is loaded in the Stack Bypass-B1, POD Deck Lite-B1, or Multi-drawer Paper Deck-B1, the side facing up is the one printed on.
IMPORTANT
You cannot load the transparencies/clear film into the Document Insertion Unit-M1.
When loading transparencies/clear film, make sure to hold only the edges of the sheets and avoid touching the print surface.
Do not load transparencies/clear film while the machine is printing. Doing so may cause a paper jam.
Use only transparencies/clear film intended for use with this machine. If you use other transparencies/clear film, you may cause damage to the machine.
It is recommended that output transparencies/clear film are immediately removed from the output tray to avoid folding of the transparencies/clear film and paper jams.
Return the remaining transparencies/clear film to their original package for storage, avoiding locations subject to high temperatures/clear film and humidity. Leaving transparencies/clear film loaded for an extended period of time may cause the sheets to stick together and result in a paper jam.
Leaving transparencies/clear film loaded for an extended period of time may cause the sheets to stick together and result in difficulties feeding the transparencies/clear film. In this case, fan the loaded transparencies/clear film well, reduce the number of sheets or use new transparencies/clear film.
When printing on transparencies/clear film, depending on the type of image, the image may become dense. When this happens, adjust the density for the output image.
NOTE
If a paper jam occurs, fan the loaded transparencies/clear film well.
