Sending/Saving (Receiving) Problems
Cancel the sending of scanned documents.
If you want to cancel sending while documents are being scanned, press <Cancel> or
, and press <Yes>.
If you want to cancel sending after the documents are scanned, press
<Send>
<Job Status>. Select a document that you want to cancel the sending for, then press <Cancel>
<Yes>. In some situations, a document may be sent even after <Cancel> is pressed.
Cannot send or save the scanned document to a destination.
Check that the destination you specified is correct, or that the address or file server information of the destination registered in the Address Book or one-touch button is correct.
Has trouble occurred on the recipient's machine? Make sure that the recipient's machine is turned ON, has enough paper, and has sufficient available memory.
When sending an e-mail or I-fax, check that the SMTP server and DNS server are set correctly.
When saving data to a file server, check that the user name and password are set correctly.
When saving data to a shared folder, check that the shared folder is set correctly.
The memory is full.
Are too many documents stored in memory? Check the sending/receiving status, and delete unnecessary documents to make more memory available.
Cannot save (receive) scanned documents.
Does the machine have sufficient memory? Delete unnecessary files and files with errors from memory to increase the amount of available memory.
Cannot save (receive) I-fax documents.
The machine cannot receive I-fax documents unless the appropriate network settings and e-mail/I-fax settings are specified. Contact your Administrator.
If using the machine as an SMTP receive server, set <SMTP RX> to <On>, then turn OFF the machine and turn it back ON.
Cannot forward documents to the Confidential Fax Inbox.
Are the forwarding conditions for <Forwarding Settings> set correctly? Specify the Confidential Fax Inbox for <Forwarding Destination>.
Is <Validate/Invalidate> in <Forwarding Settings> set to <Off>? Forwarding Settings must be set to <On> to be effective.
Does the machine have sufficient memory? Delete unnecessary documents from boxes such as the Confidential Fax Inbox and documents with errors from memory to increase the amount of available memory.
Cannot store received documents in memory.
Does the machine have sufficient memory? Delete unnecessary documents from boxes and documents with errors from memory to increase the amount of available memory.
Delete unnecessary files from the Memory RX Inbox.
Transmissions are slow.
Are documents being sent at a high resolution? Reducing the resolution increases the sending speed.
