The Finishing modes can be selected to collate the outputs in various ways, either by pages or print sets.

For information on the optional products required to use this function, see "Optional Products Required for Each Function (imageRUNNER ADVANCE C9075 PRO/C9065 PRO)" or "Optional Products Required for Each Function (imageRUNNER ADVANCE C7065/C7055)."

• For information on the modes which cannot be set in combination with this mode, see "Combination of Functions Chart."

• This mode can be used only for printing a file stored in a mail box or a PDF file.

• The Finishing modes cannot be set if custom size, envelopes, transparencies, tracing paper, or labels is selected.

• The Saddle Stitch and Saddle Fold modes can be used only for printing a file stored in a mail box.

• The Finishing modes cannot be set for paper less than 16 lb bond (60 g/m²). Do not select the Finishing modes.

• To cancel this setting, press [Finishing] → [Cancel].

• As an example, the procedure to select and print a file stored in a mail box is explained in this section.

• The table below shows all the finishing features that are available with each different optional unit, and the paper sizes that can be used.

• If the Collate Mode Is Set:

The prints are automatically collated into sets arranged in page order. The output is as follows:

• If the Group Mode Is Set:

All prints of the same original page are grouped together. The output is as follows:

• If the Staple Mode Is Set:

The prints are automatically collated into sets arranged in page order and stapled. The output is as follows:

• If you select [Corner] (Top Left):

• If you select [Double] (Left):

• If you select [Saddle Stitch]:

• The Saddle Stitch mode can be set only if the 2-Sided Print is set.

• The accuracy of folds created in the Saddle Stitch mode may vary, depending on the paper type and the number of sheets.

• To use the Saddle Stitch mode, the stored file must already be in booklet form, as shown in the illustration above. (See "Booklet Mode" or [Booklet Scanning] in "Scan and Store.")

• If No Finishing Mode Is Set:

If the Collate, Group, and Staple modes are not set, prints are output as follows:

• If the Hole Punch Mode Is Set:

The machine punches two, three, or four holes in the output.

• If the Fold Type Mode Is Set:

The prints are output as follows:

• If [Z-Fold] is selected:

The machine Z-folds 11" × 17" or LGL paper into LTR or EXEC size, respectively.

• If you specify the Z-Fold mode with the Staple mode, and the number of sheets that are Z-folded exceeds 10, the prints will be collated, but not stapled.

• If [C-Fold] is selected:

Each sheet of LTRR size paper is folded three times in a C-Fold.

• If you want the printed side to be folded inside, select [Face Up (Reverse)] for [Face Up/Face Down].

• If [Half Fold] is selected:

The machine folds LTRR paper into STMT size.

• If [Accordion Z-Fold] is selected:

Each sheet of LTRR paper is folded outward three times in a Accordion-Fold.

• If you want the printed side to be folded inside, select [Face Up (Reverse)] for [Face Up/Face Down].

• If the Saddle Fold Mode is set:

The machine folds 11 → x 17 → or LTRR paper into LTR or STMT size, respectively.

• The Saddle Stitch mode can be set only if the 2-Sided Printing is set.

• If the Booklet Finisher-A1 is attached, a maximum of five sheets can be folded together and output.

• If the Booklet Finisher-B1 is attached, one sheet is folded and output at a time.

• If [Double Parallel Fold] is selected:

The machine performs Double Parallel Fold for LTRR paper, one sheet at a time.

• If you want the printed side to be folded inside, select [Face Up (Reverse)] for [Face Up/Face Down].

• If the Rotate 90 Degrees Mode Is Set:

If the prints are of the same size, the sheets are automatically collated into sets arranged in page order, and are output in alternating directions as follows:

• If the Offset Mode Is Set:

The prints are slightly offset vertically in the output tray as follows: (You can also specify the number of print sets to offset.)

• If the Face Up/Face Down Mode Is Set:

You can specify whether the sheets are output face up or face down. Press [Face Up/Face Down] and specify the following items.

• If the Trim Mode Is Set:

Trims the edges of prints when using the Saddle Stitch.

• You can set [Trim] only if you select [Saddle Stitch].
