Installing the e-Manual

Install the e-Manual provided on the CD-ROM that comes with the machine on your computer. Follow the steps in the procedure below.

Insert the User Software CD-ROM into the slot on your computer.

Click [Custom Installation].
 When the above dialog box does not appear
"Basic Windows Operations"

When the following screen appears, click [Next] for [Connect Printer Directly to Computer].

Perform the following procedure.
(1)
Clear all the check boxes except for [Manuals].
(2)
Click [Install].

Read the License Agreement and click [Yes] to agree.
The installation begins. Wait until the following screen closes. (It may take some time until installation is complete.)

Click [Exit].

Click [Next].

Click [Exit].
Eject the CD-ROM when the following screen appears.
Starting the e-Manual
Double-click the [LASER CLASS 650i e-Manual] on the desktop.
 When a security warning message appears

Perform the following procedure.
1.
Click the information bar and select [Allow Blocked Content] from the pop-up menu.
2.
Click [Yes].
NOTE
To view the e-Manual Directly from the CD-ROM
Follow the steps in the procedure below to view the e-Manual directly from the CD-ROM instead of having it installed on your computer.
1.
Insert the User Software CD-ROM into the slot on your computer.
2.
Click [Display Manuals].
3.
Click the [] button next to [e-Manual].
A security warning message appears, depending on the operating system that you are using on your computer. When this message appears, allow the content to be displayed in your Web browser.
