Overview of This Function
When the machine's power is turned ON or when you press (Status Monitor/Cancel), the Status Monitor/Cancel screen appears. On this screen, you can change the job order, cancel jobs, and confirm detailed information on the job status and job log. You can also acquire detailed information for consumables.
This section explaing the basic screen of the Status/Monitor Cancel screen.

Job
Press to show the Job screen. There are the Job Status and Job Log screens on the Job screen. For more information, see "Job Screen."

Paper
Press to show the Paper screen. You can check paper information loaded in the paper sources. You can specify the paper type for each paper source. For more information, see "Paper Screen."

Toner/Other
Press to show the Toner/Other screen. You can check the remaining amount of toner and remaining amount and waste amount for consumables other than the toner. For more information, see "Toner/Other Screen."

Job Log
Press to show the Job Log screen which shows the completed jobs. For more information, see "Job Log Screen."

Job Status
Press to show the Job Status screen which shows the currently processing jobs and waiting jobs. For more information, see "Job Status Screen."

Icons
For more information on the icons displayed on the Job screen, see "Icons on the Job Screen."
NOTE
The status bars on the [Job] button flash in blue or orange to indicate the status of jobs. The status bars flash blue when there are current jobs that are being processed, and maintain a steady blue light when there are jobs in the print queue. Flashing orange status bars indicate errors. For instructions on resolving errors, see "List of Error Messages."
Job Screen
The Job screen appears when you select [Job] on the Status/Monitor Cancel screen. The job list is displayed on the upper part, and message list for the current device status is displayed on the lower part of the Job screen. Press [Job Status] to view the current jobs and waiting jobs. Press [Job Log] to view the completed jobs.

You can view the current jobs and waiting jobs.

Job Type Drop-Down List
Press to sort the displayed jobs by job type. Select the following job type.

Copy
Send
Forward

Job List
On the Job Status screen, you can view current jobs and waiting jobs. By pressing buttons below the job list, you can change the order of waiting jobs, cancel jobs, and check the job details.
The displayed buttons may differ, depending on the operating job type. For more information on the buttons displayed on the Job Status screen, see "Icons on the Job Screen."

Expand Button (for Job List)
Press to expand the job list. When you expand the job list, the message list is not displayed.

Expand Button (for Message List)
Press to expand the message list. When you expand the message list, the job list is not displayed.

Message List for the Current Device Status
Messages which indicate the current status of the device are displayed, such as error messages.

Update Button (for Message List)
Press to update the message list.

You can view the completed jobs.

Job List
On the Job Log screen, you can view completed jobs. By pressing buttons below the job list, you can check the details of the selected job and print the job log list.

Message List for the Current Device Status
Messages which indicate the current status of the device are displayed, such as error messages.
NOTE
The most recent 100 copy or print jobs, and a combined total of the 100 most recent send and receive jobs are displayed in the log.

Paper Screen
The Paper screen appears when you select [Paper] on the Status/Monitor Cancel screen.

Paper Information
On the Paper screen, you can check the paper information and the remaining amount of loaded paper in all paper sources.

Details
Press to check the detailed information of paper loaded in the selected paper source.

Paper Settings
Press to specify the paper type for each paper source.

Paper Type Management Settings
Press to register the custom paper types.

Device Illustration of Paper Sources Information
An illustration shows information of all paper sources of the machine. Unique numbers are given for each paper source. The paper source you are currently loading paper is highlighted in yellow.
Toner/Other Screen
The Toner/Other screen appears when you select [Toner/Other] on the Status/Monitor Cancel screen.
The information for the remainging amount of toner is displayed on the upper part, and other information is displayed on the lower part of the Toner/Other screen.

Toner Information
You can check the remaining amount of each color toner quickly.

Other Information
You can check information for consumables other than the remaining amount of toner. Consumables information for both remaining amount to use and waste amount to remove are available. You can also check the available system memory and backup status of the stored files.

IMPORTANT
If [Display Job Log] in [Management Settings] (Settings/Registration) is set to 'Off', [Job Log] for each screen is not displayed.
NOTE
You can set the screen displayed when (Status Monitor/Cancel) is pressed in [Default Screen (Status Monitor/Cancel)] in [Preferences] (Settings/Registration). (See "Default Screen (Status Monitor/Cancel).")
If Department ID Management is set and [Display Job Status Before Authentication] is set to 'Off', operations other than displaying the Device Status screen cannot be performed even when you press (Status Monitor/Cancel), unless you have logged in to the machine. (See "Setting the Control Panel Display.")
Many of the check/change operations can also be performed from the Remote UI. (See "Managing Jobs.")
