Logging In to SMS
0L3X-21X
The following two methods exist for logging in to SMS:
Logging in with the SMS password (Password Authentication)
Log in using the SMS password from the [Login] page for SMS.
Logging in with the user name and password of the machine (Remote Login Service Authentication)
Log in using the user name and password of the machine (except for Default Authentication).
Only users registered as administrators can log in.
Use the [System Application Management] page in [System Management] to start and stop the login methods for SMS. (See "Changing the Login Method for SMS.")

IMPORTANT
Only the SMS password can be used to log in, by default.
If Default Authentication is set as the login service, you cannot log in to SMS with the user name and password of the machine.
The URL to specify differs according to the login method.
Multiple users cannot log in to SMS at the same time.
You cannot connect to the machine via a proxy server. In the proxy server settings of your Web browser, add the IP address of the machine to the [Exceptions] (addresses that do not use a proxy) list. (As these settings differ depending on the network environment, contact the administrator for the network you are using.)
Only enter characters in your Web browser that can also be entered from the touch panel display of the machine. Otherwise, the characters you enter from your Web browser may not be displayed or recognized correctly on the touch panel display.
