Setting to Always Add a Device Signature to PDF or XPS Documents

To "Settings/Registration Table"

This mode enables you to set whether to always add a device signature to sent PDF or XPS documents.

For information on the optional products required to use this function, see "Optional Products Required for Each Function (imageRUNNER ADVANCE C9075 PRO/C9065 PRO)" or "Optional Products Required for Each Function (imageRUNNER ADVANCE C7065/C7055)."


  1. Press (Settings/Registration) → [Function Settings] → [Send] → [Common Settings] → [Always Add Device Signature to Send].

  1. Select [On] or [Off] → press [OK].

Details of each item are shown below.

[On]: Always adds a device signature to sent PDF or XPS documents.
[Off]: Does not add a device signature to sent PDF or XPS documents.
  • If you select [On]:

  • If you select [On]:
  • Select [On] or [Off] for <Restrict File Formats> → press [OK].

    <Restrict File Formats>:
[On]: Only PDF or XPS files can be sent.
[Off]: Files other than PDF or XPS can also be sent.
  • If <Restrict File Formats> is set to 'On', and sending a file in a format other than PDF or XPS is registered in the Favorites Settings Button, the file cannot be sent.

  • If you select [Off]:
