Restricting Printer Jobs

To "Settings/Registration Table"

You can specify whether to restrict printer jobs.

Remark
  • To specify Restrict Printer Job settings, it is necessary to log in as an administrator. For information on the types of administrators, see "Administrator Settings" in "Security."

  1. Press (Settings/Registration) → [Function Settings] → [Printer] → [Restrict Printer Jobs].
  1. Select [On] or [Off] → press [OK].

Details of each item are described below:

[On]: Restricts jobs from printer drivers.
[Off]: There are no restrictions for jobs from printer drivers.

  • Select [Rsrvd Jobs] or [Rsrvd Jobs + Secured Print] for <Select Jobs to Allow> → press [OK].

<Select Jobs to Allow>:

[Rsrvd Jobs]: Allows printing of Store in Mail Box, Hold, and Register Form jobs.
[Rsrvd Jobs + Secured Print]: Allows printing of Store in Mail Box, Hold, Register Form, and Secured Print jobs.
