The machine cannot receive documents.

Does the machine have sufficient memory?
Delete unnecessary documents and documents with errors from memory to increase the amount of available memory.

The machine cannot receive faxes.

Is an RX password set in [Fax Settings] in your machine?
If an <RX Password> is set in Fax Settings, documents can be received only from senders that use the correct password. Confirm this with your administrator. (See "Setting the Receive Password.")
Cannot forward documents to the Confidential Fax Inbox.

Are the forwarding conditions set correctly?
Check the Forwarding Conditions, and inform the sender of those settings. (See "Storing Forwarding Settings.")
Is Forwarding Settings set to 'On' using [Validate/Invalidate]?
Forwarding Settings must be set to 'On' to be effective. Press [Validate/Invalidate] for [Forwarding Settings] → set Forwarding Settings to 'On'. (See "Storing Forwarding Settings.")
Does the machine have sufficient memory?
Delete unnecessary documents and documents with errors from memory to increase the amount of available memory. (See "Checking the Detailed Information for/Deleting a File in the Memory RX Inbox" and "Checking File Information.")

The quality of printed originals is uneven.

Is the platen glass of the sender's machine clean?
Make a few copies using your machine. If the copies are not streaked, the problem is in the sending party's machine. Contact the sender and ask them to send the document again.
