      Registering Frequently Used Scan Settings
       
      If you frequently scan documents with the same settings or want to hold complicated settings for later use, register the settings as "Favorite Settings." You can conveniently recall them whenever you need.
      Registering Scan Settings

      Press <Scan and Send> on the Main Menu. <Main Menu> Screen

      Specify the destination to register, and specify the scan settings as necessary. Scan Basic Features Screen

      Press <Favorite Settings>  <Register>.

      Check the settings to register and press <Next>.

      Select a button and press <Next>.

      Enter the name of the button and a comment as necessary, and press <OK>.
      Press <Name> to change the name of the button, and press <Comment> to enter a comment such as information about the button settings.
      NOTE
      To display the entered comment
      Press <On> for <Show Comments>.
      To change or delete the registered settings
      To change a button name or comment, press <Edit>  select a button  <Rename> to change the name and the comment  <OK>.
      To delete the registered settings, press <Edit>  select a button  <Delete>  <Yes>.
      Other registration methods
      You can register "Favorite Settings" from  located in the upper-right of the Scan Basic Features screen. Scan Basic Features Screen

      You can also change the recalled settings after pressing <Yes>.
