Inside the Front Cover

Follow the procedure described below, while referring to the location of the paper jam and the directions that appear on the touch panel display, to remove the jammed paper.

NOTE
The following illustration indicates the location of the paper jam. Please refer to it to remove the jammed paper. *Front Cover

Open the front cover of the finisher.

Slide the guide (F-A1) to align it with the mark.

This procedure is not necessary only if the External 2/3 Hole Puncher-A1 is attached.

Open the guide (F-B1).

Remove any jammed paper.

	1. Remove any jammed paper.
	2. Close the guide (F-B1).

CAUTION
When closing the guide, be careful not to get your fingers caught, as this may result in personal injury.

Open the guide (F-B2).

Remove any jammed paper.

	1. Remove any jammed paper.
	2. Close the guide (F-B2).

Turn the lower dial (F-B3) in the direction of the arrow (counterclockwise).

Remove any jammed paper from the guide (F-B4).

	1. Open the guide (F-B4).
	2. Remove any jammed paper.
	3. Close the guide (F-B4).

CAUTION
When closing the guide, be careful not to get your fingers caught, as this may result in personal injury.

Close the front cover of the finisher.

Follow the instructions on the screen.

NOTE
The screen indicating the directions on how to clear the paper jam is displayed repeatedly until the paper jam is cleared.
