If an error occurs while an e-mail is being sent or received, an error code appears in Details on the Status Monitor/Cancel screen, and is included in various reports such as the Communication Management Report.

Press [Function Settings] (Settings/Registration) → [Send] → [E-Mail/I-Fax Settings] → check the name of the SMTP Server. Press [Preferences] (Settings/Registration) → [Network] → [TCP/IP Settings] → [DNS Settings] → check the DNS server name.
