Setting the Line to Use when Sending

To "Settings/Registration Table"

You can register the method for selecting the line to use for sending.

For information on the optional products required to use this function, see "Optional Products Required for Each Function (imageRUNNER ADVANCE C9075 PRO/C9065 PRO)" or "Optional Products Required for Each Function (imageRUNNER ADVANCE C7065/C7055)."

Remark
  • This mode is available only if the Super G3 2nd Line Fax Board is installed.
  • If you select another line on the Options screen, that setting takes priority.

  1. Press (Settings/Registration) → [Function Settings] → [Send] → [Fax Settings] → [Set Line] → [Select TX Line].

Depending on the line, the following conditions must be met:

Line 1: Only the Super G3 FAX Board installed

Line 1, Line 2: The Super G3 FAX Board and Super G3 2nd Line Fax Board installed

Line 1, Line 2, Line 3, Line 4: The Super G3 FAX Board, Super G3 2nd Line Fax Board, and Super G3 3rd/4th Line Fax Board installed

Details of each item are shown below.

[Priority TX]: When sending, the line specified in [Priority TX] is selected if the line is not in use.
[Prohibit TX]: The line specified in [Prohibit TX] is restricted. (The specified line is only used for receiving).
  • The same line cannot be set for both [Priority TX] and [Prohibit TX].
  • Specify at least one line in [Priority Sending]. You cannot set all lines in [Prohibit TX].
  • Even if you set to prohibit using line 1 (the standard line) for sending documents, line 1 (the standard line) is still used for fax information services.
  • When using manual sending, line 1 (the standard line) is automatically selected, regardless of the line settings.
