Handling Files That Fail to Be Forwarded

To "Settings/Registration Table"

If transmission of a file has failed, this mode automatically deletes that file from memory.

  1. Press (Settings/Registration) → [Function Settings] → [Send] → [Common Settings] → [Delete Failed TX Jobs].
  1. Select [On] or [Off] → press [OK].

Details of each item are shown below.

[On]: Deletes jobs after sending, whether the transmission ends successfully or with an error.
[Off]: Stores a file in memory if the transmission ends in an error. From the Status Monitor/Cancel screen, you can resend files whose transmissions have failed, or change the destinations and resend the files. (See "Status Monitor/Cancel.")
  • Even if the Delete Failed TX Jobs mode is set to 'Off', fax files sent in the Direct Sending or Manual Sending mode, or sent from computers via the fax driver do not remain in memory when the transmission ends in an error.
