For instructions on how to start the ScanGear Tool, see "Selecting the Scanner."

The online help is displayed.

Topic pane (right side):	Displays the description of the information.

Viewing the Color Network ScanGear/Network ScanGear Help

The scanner driver can be started by executing the command to read an image from the scanner from a TWAIN-compliant application (such as Adobe Acrobat, Word/Excel/PowerPoint in Microsoft Office 2000 and later, etc.), selecting "Color Network ScanGear" or "Network ScanGear."
For details, see the instruction manuals provided with the application.

NOTE
The ScanGear Tool cannot be started at the same time as the Color Network ScanGear/Network ScanGear. The window displayed may differ according to the operating system etc.
