Interrupt Mode
The interrupt mode enables you to pause a reserved or current job to make higher priority copies. This mode is useful if you need to make a rush copy during a long copy job.
To use the interrupt mode while waiting for print job to finish, press [Status Monitor/Cancel] → [Copy/Print] → [Job Status] → [Interrupt/Priority]. (See "Operations from the Copy/Print Screen.")
1.
Press [Copy].
2.
Press [Interrupt].
To change the Department ID before copying, press (Log In/Out) → enter the Department ID and PIN using - (numeric keys). (See "Entering the Department ID and PIN.")
NOTE
Pressing [Interrupt] does not immediately stop the current job. Printing of the current job stops only when the actual printing of the priority or interrupt copy starts.
3.
Set the desired copy modes.
4.
Press (Start).
IMPORTANT
If you want to continue making interrupt copies, wait until the current interrupt copy job is complete. Then, repeat steps 2 to 3.

IMPORTANT
For information on the modes which cannot be set in combination with this mode, see "Unavailable Combination of Functions."
NOTE
You cannot make interrupt copies if there is an interrupt copy job being processed or waiting to be processed.
To cancel the interrupt mode, press [Interrupt].
