Preparing to Use the Toner Cartridge

Remove the packing materials from the toner cartridge.

The toner cartridge is pre-installed in the machine.

Open the front cover.

Remove the packing materials from the toner cartridge, and install the toner cartridge in the machine.

|
Gently shake the toner cartridge five or six times to evenly distribute the toner inside the cartridge.
|
|
|
|
|
Place the toner cartridge on a flat surface, lift the tab, and gently pull the sealing tape completely out.
The full length of the sealing tape is approximately 20" (50 cm).

Fit the protrusions (A) on both sides of the toner cartridge into the guides located on both sides of the machine and slide the toner cartridge into the machine until the toner cartridge comes to rest and is held against the back of the machine.

Close the front cover.

Make sure that the toner cartridge is properly set inside the machine.
Do not try to close the toner cover forcibly, as this may damage the machine.

To remove the packing materials
Make sure that the following packing materials are all removed from the machine.
|
Continue with the steps in the procedure below and load the paper stack.  " Loading Paper" |
