Loading Transparency/Clear/Translucent Film
0S9Y-082
You can load the transparency/clear/translucent film to the following paper source.
Paper decks of the main unit
POD Deck Lite-C1
POD Deck-D1/Secondary POD Deck-D1
If the paper package has instructions about which side of the transparency/clear/translucent film to load, follow those instructions.
When the transparency/clear/translucent film is loaded in the paper deck of the main unit, the side facing down is the one printed on.
When the transparency/clear/translucent film is loaded in the POD Deck Lite-C1, or POD Deck-D1/Secondary POD Deck-D1, the side facing up is the one printed on.
IMPORTANT
You cannot load the transparency/clear/translucent film into the Document Insertion Unit-N1.
When loading transparency/clear/translucent film, make sure to hold only the edges of the sheets and avoid touching the print surface.
Do not load transparency/clear/translucent film while the machine is printing. Doing so may cause a paper jam.
Use only transparency/clear/translucent film intended for use with this machine. If you use other transparency/clear/translucent film, you may cause damage to the machine.
It is recommended that output transparency/clear/translucent film are immediately removed from the output tray to avoid folding of the transparency/clear/translucent film and paper jams.
Return the remaining transparency/clear/translucent film to their original package for storage, avoiding locations subject to high temperatures and humidity. Leaving transparency/clear/translucent film loaded for an extended period of time may cause the sheets to stick together and result in a paper jam.
Leaving transparency/clear/translucent film loaded for an extended period of time may cause the sheets to stick together and result in difficulties feeding the transparency/clear/translucent film. In this case, fan the loaded transparency/clear/translucent film well, reduce the number of sheets or use new transparency/clear/translucent film.
When printing on transparency/clear/translucent film, depending on the type of image, the image may become dense. When this happens, adjust the density for the output image.
When post processing is necessary for translucent film, set the [Color] of the registered user paper to [Translucent (Finishing OK)]. However, translucent film may be judged as transparent film depending on its condition, and a paper jam may occur. (See "Changing the Color.")
NOTE
If a paper jam occurs, fan the loaded transparency/clear/translucent film well.
