Specifying a Destination by Entering a File Server
This section describes the procedure for sending scanned files to a file server on the network.

IMPORTANT
Windows XP/Server 2003/Server 2003 R2/Server 2008/Vista/7/8/Server 2008 R2/Server 2012 restrict access numbers for the number of users and clients. If the limit of users or clients is exceeded, it is not possible to send documents to a file server using Windows XP/Server 2003/Server 2003 R2/Server 2008/Vista/7/8/Server 2008 R2/Server 2012.
If you set [Language/Keyboard Switch On/Off] to 'On', the host name and folder path of the file server destination may not be displayed correctly, and you may not be able to browse them. (See "Enabling the Language/Keyboard Switch.")
NOTE
See the following for information on how to set up the various server protocols.
