Printing Problems

Cannot print.

The processing/data indicator (Control Panel) blinks or lights up when there are documents are being processed or waiting to be processed. Wait until all jobs are complete, or specify the next document to print on the printing status screen.

If the machine or optional equipment malfunctions, a message is displayed on the touch panel display. Follow the on-screen instructions or refer to the error message list to resolve the problem.
When an Error Message Appears
If the Forced Hold setting is enabled, printing may not be performed when using certain settings.

Printing stops before the job is complete.

Printing Result Problems

Meaningless characters are being printed.

Install the printer driver for Windows that was included with the machine.
Driver Software Used with This Machine
If an MS-DOS application is being used, reset the MS-DOS application printer settings on a printer that is compatible with the machine, and print again.

A font that is different from the one specified is printed.

If the [Send According to Font Substitution Table] setting has been set on the printer driver for Windows, check that the setting is correct, and print the data again.

Cannot print the last page.

The data may remain in the machine's memory because some applications do not have a function that send a command to indicate the end of the print data. Select the document from the printing status screen and print it.
