Paper Jams in the Paper Folding Unit-J1
Check the location of the paper jam on the touch panel display, and follow the procedure described in this section to clear the paper jam. Paper jam locations are indicated by numbers such as M-A2 or M-B2, which are shown in the illustration below. The Paper Folding Unit-J1 is optional. Optional Equipment

Open the front cover.

Open the guide (M-A2).

Remove the jammed paper.

Turn the knob (M-A3), and remove the jammed paper.

Turn the knob (M-A3).

Remove the jammed paper.

Remove the jammed paper from the left guide (M-B2).
 |

Pull out the paper folding unit (M-B1).

Open the guide (M-B2).
|

Remove the jammed paper.

Close the guide (M-B2).

Remove the jammed paper from the right guide (M-B3).
 |
|
Open the guide (M-B3).
Open the guide as far as it will go.

Remove the jammed paper.
|
|
|
|
Close the guide (M-B3).

Remove the jammed paper from the exit slot.

Remove the jammed paper.
|
|
|
Return the paper folding unit (M-B1) to its original position.

Close the guide (M-A2) and the front cover.

Follow the instructions on the touch panel display.
Resume the procedure that was interrupted.
NOTE:
If the paper jam message is repeatedly displayed, open the entrance guide located above the knob (M-A3) on the inside of the front cover, and check whether or not paper remains.
