Some of the settings may not be displayed depending on the configuration of optional equipment installed on the machine.
You may need to press <Apply Setting Changes> on the Top screen of the Settings/Registration or restart the machine to activate certain functions after changing the settings.
The settings that can be specified differ between administrators and general users, and vary depending on restrictions imposed by the administrator.

Description of the Settings
Describes the functions of each setting item on Settings/Registration. The settings that can be operated vary depending on the user authority and the machine you use. Setting items and values are written under Setting Value. The factory defaults are written in bold red characters.
"DeviceAdmin" and "NetworkAdmin"
At the bottom of each "Description" column, the "DeviceAdmin" and "NetworkAdmin" items are written in light blue characters. The administrator can change all of the settings while general uses can change only some of the settings. The users that have "DeviceAdmin" or "NetworkAdmin" privileges can change certain settings that general users cannot change. For those settings, "Yes" or "No" indicates if the settings can/cannot be changed with DeviceAdmin and NetworkAdmin privileges.
"Can be set in the Remote UI" and "Device Information Distribution Available"
At the bottom of each "Description" column, the "Can be set in the Remote UI" and "Device Information Distribution Available" items are written in light blue characters. "Yes" or "No" indicates if the settings can/cannot be set in the Remote UI or are/are not available for Device Information Distribution.
<Personal Settings> and <Device Settings>
When User Authenticaion (
Managing Users) is enabled, <Personal Settings> and <Device Settings> are displayed on the screen after you log in. If you have logged in as the administrator, the setting contents of <Personal Settings> and <Device Settings> are the same since you need to entirely configure the administrator’s personal settings as well as the machine settings. If you log in as another user, you can configure the personal settings for the logged in user with <Personal Settings> and the machine settings within the authority of the logged in user with <Device Settings>.
