If the machine is idle for a certain period of time (after the last key operation is performed), the display returns to the Basic Features screen (standard settings) of the selected function. You can also select whether to automatically delete the cache (temporary files of previously visited Web pages that are stored to speed up repeated access to the same page) when the Auto Clear mode is activated.

• For more information on Auto Clear, see "Auto Reset Time."

• The Auto Clear mode is not activated during the following cases:

• When the PDF downloading dialog box is displayed

• When the PDF direct printing dialog box is displayed

• When the PDF BOX saving dialog box is displayed

1. Press [] (Menu) → [Settings].

If necessary, see the screen shots in steps 1 and 2 of "Restricting the Display Screen."

2. Press [Auto Clear Settings].

3. Select what to display during Auto Clear → press [OK].

Details of each item are shown below.

4. Press [Close] repeatedly until the Web Access screen appears.
