Checking the Status of Consumables

This section describes how to check the status of consumables.


  1. Press (Status Monitor/Cancel) → [Consumables].

  • To check the details of paper loaded in the machine:

  • To check the details of paper loaded in the machine:
  • Select the paper source you want to check → press [Details].
  • Check the detailed information → press [OK].

The display returns to the Consumable screen.

  • To check other information:
  • Check the amount of memory (%), amount of waste toner, and the remaining amount of toner and staples.

  • The table below indicates the remaining amount of consumables.
    Display Remaining amount of toner
    OK 100 to 11%
    Low 10 to 1%
    Empty 0%

    Display Remaining amount of staples
    Remaining amount of Saddle Stitching
    OK 100 to 26%
    Low 25 to 1%
    Empty 0%

  • To register/set the paper type:
  • Press [].
  • Select an item to register/set.

[Paper Settings]: Sets the paper type to load by selecting a paper source.
[Paper Type Management Settings]: Registers a user-defined paper type by entering a name.

  • Press [OK].
