This mode enables you to scan facing pages of a book or bound original, print them in two separate pages, or store them as two separate pages.

• For information on the modes which cannot be set in combination with this mode, see "Combination of Functions Chart."

• Place your original on the platen glass. The Book2 Pages mode cannot be used when the original is placed in the feeder.

• As an example, the procedure for scanning an original and storing it in a mail box is explained in this section.

1. Select the desired Mail Box.

2. Place your originals → press [Scan].

3. Press [Options] → [Book2 Pages].

4. Press [Close].

5. Press (Start).

To scan the next two facing pages, turn the page of the original → place your original on the platen glass → press (Start).

6. When scanning is complete, press [Start Storing].
