Remark
  • Do not place originals with binding holes into the feeder, as this may damage the originals.
  • The Erase Binding mode cannot be used with the Scan Size (11" x 17"+, Custom, Long Original, and Free Size) or Book 2 Pages mode.
  • If you are using the Erase Binding mode, the borders you do not select are also erased by 1/8" (4 mm).
  • To cancel this setting, press [Options] → [Erase Frame] → [Erase Binding] → [Cancel Settings].

  1. Press [Options] → [Erase Frame].
  1. Press [Erase Binding].

The border is where the binding holes are located on the original, if you visualize the original as being face up.
  1. Press [-] or [+] to set the erase frame width → press [OK].
