Remark
  • The Erase Book Frame mode cannot be used with the Scan Size (11" x 17"+, Auto, Custom, Long Original, and Free Size) or Different Size Originals mode.
  • To cancel this setting, press [Options] → [Erase Frame] → [Erase Book Frame] → [Cancel Settings].

  1. Press [Options] → [Erase Frame].

  1. Press [Erase Book Frame].

  1. Press [-] or [+] to set the erase frame widths.
  • If you want to set the same width for all four borders:
  • If you want to set the top, left, center, right, and bottom widths independently:

  • If you want to set the same width for all four borders:
  • Press [Center] and [Sides] → press [-] or [+] to set their respective erase frame widths.

  • If you want to set the top, left, center, right, and bottom widths independently:
  • Press [Adjust Independently].
  • Select the desired erase frame borders → press [-] or [+] to set their respective erase frame widths.

To return to the screen for setting the same width for all four borders, press [Uniform Width].

  1. Press [Change] → select the size of the bound original when it is open → press [OK].
  • You can set the Erase Book Frame mode only for the original paper sizes shown on the touch panel display.
  • To select an A or B series paper size, press [A/B Size].
  1. Press [OK].
