Exporting the Personal Button/Shared Button

This section describes how to export the Personal button/Shared button via Web browser. The exported Personal button/Shared button is saved to your computer as an XML file.


Remark
  • Do not turn the main power of the machine OFF while exporting a Personal button/Shared button file, as doing so may cause the machine to malfunction.
  • Do not open and edit exported XML files, as this may cause the machine to malfunction.

  1. Click [Export] on the Quick Menu Page.

For more information of how to display the Quick Menu page, see "Logging In to the Quick Menu Page."

The Export page is displayed.
  1. Click [Export].

  • If you are encrypting file, select [Encrypt file] and enter your password. The password must be 4 to 16 characters.
  1. Follow the instructions on the screen to specify the location where you want to save the file.

File download is started.
