Remote UI

This mode enables you to use the Remote UI (User Interface) to operate the machine and change settings.

Press

(Settings/Registration).

Press [Management Settings] → [License/Other] → [Remote UI].

Press [On] → specify each setting → press [OK].

Press [Off] to disable setting the machine from the Remote UI.

Press [On] for <Use SSL> to use SSL communication.

Select [On] for <Use Reference Print> to allow printing by entering it URL.

NOTE
Before setting <Use SSL> to 'On', it is necessary to set a default key in [Preferences] (Settings/Registration). (See "Setting the Key Pair Used with SSL Encrypted Communications.") Any changes made to <Use SSL> are also applied to [Use SSL] in [MEAP Settings] in [Management Settings] (Settings/Registration). (See "MEAP Settings.")

NOTE
For more information on the Remote UI, see "Remote UI." Changes are only effective after you restart the machine (the main power switch is turned OFF, and then back ON). For instruction on restarting (turning the main power switch OFF and then ON) the machine, see "Before You Start Using This Machine."
