This login service does not use a domain and is operated on the machine. User authentication is performed by setting [Department ID Management] to 'On'. If you set [Department ID Management] to 'Off', user authentication is not performed. When you do not want to use the authentication function, set Default Authentication as the login service.
Default Authentication has two types of users: administrator and general users. The functions of the machine, the Remote UI, and MEAP applications that can be used differ according to the type of user. Which users become administrator or general users depends on whether Department ID Management and System Manager Settings are set, as indicated in the table below.
