Exporting/Importing Favorites As a File
You can use the Remote UI to save the information for the Web pages registered in Favorites to a computer file (export). You can also retrieve the saved information from the file and register it in the machine (import).

IMPORTANT
The Import/Export operation may take some time to complete. Do not turn the machine's main power OFF until the operation is complete, as doing so may cause the machine to malfunction.
During an export operation, the display of the computer screen does not change until the operation is complete. Do not click [Start Exporting] while the hourglass or pointer indicates that the operation is still being processed.
The machine's control panel cannot be used while files are being imported/exported.
NOTE
To import/export, it is necessary to log in to the Remote UI as an administrator.
For instructions on using the Remote UI, see "Overview of This Function."
