Setting the Line to Use When Sending
You can register the method for selecting the line to use for sending. You can also set to prohibit sending from a line.
For information on the optional products required to use this function, see "Optional Products Required for Each Function."
NOTE
You can use this mode if the Super G3 2nd Line Fax Board is installed.

1.
Press (Settings/Registration).
2.
Press [Function Settings] → [Send] → [Fax Settings].
3.
Press [Set Line] → [Select TX Line].
4.
Specify each setting → press [OK].
Details of each item are shown below:
[Priority TX]:
The line specified in [Priority TX] is selected to send if the line is not in use.
[Prohibit TX]:
The line specified in [Prohibit TX] is restricted. (The specified line is used only for receiving.)
Depending on the fax board installed, the lines that you can select vary as shown below:
If the Super G3 2nd Line Fax Board is installed: Line 1, Line 2
IMPORTANT
You cannot set both [Priority TX] and [Prohibit TX] for the same line.
Set one single line for [Priority TX]. You cannot set all lines to [Prohibit TX].
Even if you set to prohibit using Line1 for sending documents, Line1 is still used for fax information services.

NOTE
If you select another line in [Options], that setting takes priority.
