2-Sided Printing

[On], [Off]*

This parameter enables you to select one-sided or two-sided printing. When the 2-Sided Printing mode is specified, the document is printed on both sides of the paper.

NOTE
Two-sided printing can use either the paper drawer or the Multi-Purpose Tray with the following sizes. 11” x 17”, LGL, LTR, LTRR, STMTR, EXEC, A3, B4, A4, A4R, B5, B5R, A5R, and Custom Size (5 1/2” x 7 1/8” to 11 3/4” x 19 1/4” (139.7 mm x 182 mm to 297 mm x 487.7 mm)) Two-sided printing can use paper within the following range: 14 lb bond to 140 lb index (52 g/m2 to 256 g/m2) When printing on letterhead paper, or paper with a logo (such as a cover sheet), please note the following: If the paper is fed from a paper drawer, the printing surface should be face down. If the paper is fed from the Multi-Purpose Tray, Paper Deck Unit-A1, or Paper Deck Unit-D1, the printing surface should be face up.
