1. Check the phone cord connection in the following points:
• Do you use the provided phone cord or a duplex phone cord?
• Is the provided phone cord plugged into the "LINE" jack on the rear of the printer?
• Is the other end of the provided phone cord plugged into the wall jack?
• Is the phone cord clicked into the phone?
2. Press the Hook button.
Do you hear a dial tone after you press the Hook button?
Yes
No, the dial tone is still not heard.
