You can set whether to prioritize productivity or alignment when using Saddle Fold.
This mode can be set when the Finisher-AN1 or Saddle Finisher-AN2 is attached. (See "Finisher-AN1/Saddle Finisher-AN2/Puncher Unit-BS1/Puncher Unit-BT1.")
1.

2.
Press [Adjustment/Maintenance] → [Adjust Action] → [Switch Saddle Fold Mode].
3.
Select [Productivity Priority] or [Alignment Priority] → press [OK].
Details of each item are shown below:
[Productivity Priority]
This mode gives a priority to productivity. The output paper may not be aligned.
[Alignment Priority]
As a priority is given to aligning the output paper, the production speed decreases compared with [Productivity Priority] mode.
IMPORTANT
[<Switch Saddle Fold Mode>] is enabled when using the following paper.
Paper type: Thin paper, plane paper, heavy paper, coated paper
Basis weight: Thin paper: (16 to 21lb.(60 to 79 g/m2)), plane paper: (21 to 28lb.(80 to 105 g/m2)), heavy paper: (28 to 77lb.(106 to 209 g/m2)), coated paper: (28 to 77lb.(106 to 209 g/m2))
When [<Productivity Priority>] is selected, the edges of the saddle fold may not be aligned due to the temperature, humidity, paper characteristics or image density.
