Obtaining the Remote Address Book
You can specify the settings to view the address book of another machine which supports the Remote Fax function (remote address book) that is opened externally on the network.
This mode can be set when the Remote Fax function is available for use. For information on the optional products required to use the Remote Fax function, see
"Optional Products Required for Each Function."
You can set whether to use the remote address book.
Remote Address Book Server Address
You can specify the IP address or the host name for the machine which supports the Remote Fax function (Remote Address Book Server) with a remote address book that is opened externally.
You can register the IPv4 (Internet Protocol Version 4) address and IPv6 (Internet Protocol Version 6) address.
If you set a time for Communication Timeout, obtaining address books is canceled when the Remote Address Book Server is not responding and the set time has elapsed.
