Follow the procedure described in this section to discard punch waste from the Puncher Unit-BS1 that is installed in the optional Staple Finisher-W1 PRO/Booklet Finisher-W1 PRO.

Open the front cover of the finisher.

Pull out the punch waste tray.
Make sure that the guide (F-A2) is closed before pulling out the punch waste tray so that it does not block the punch waste tray. Paper Jams in the Staple Finisher-W1 PRO/Booklet Finisher-W1 PRO

Hold the punch waste tray handle and gently pull it toward you.

Pull it out completely, supporting it with your hand.

Discard the punch waste.

Return the punch waste tray to its original position.
Make sure to insert the punch waste tray as far as it will go.

Close the front cover of the finisher.
