Before faxing, you need to set up the fax configuration in order to use the fax options (such as the fax board) attached to and installed in the machine. When using the fax driver for the first time, or changing the fax options, set up the fax configuration in the driver.

If the machine is connected by bidirectional communication, the options are set automatically when you verify the fax information. If the machine is connected by unidirectional communication, you must set the options manually.
