You can set the machine to enter the Silent mode, which reduces the machine noise, when a certain period of time elapses after the last print or key operation. This section describes the procedure for setting the period of time before the machine enters the Silent mode.

Press 
(Settings/Registration).

Press [Preferences] → [Timer/Energy Settings] → [Silent Mode Time].

Press [-] or [+] to set the time before the machine enters the Silent mode → press [OK].
