CANON UNIX PRINTER MANAGER UTILITY

The Canon UNIX Printer Manager Utility is available for the following 
UNIX platforms:

	* Solaris 2.5.1 - 2.7 (sparc & i386)
	* HP UX 10.10 & 10.20
	* IRIX 6.2, 6.3, & 6.4.

To install this software, 
	1.  If the file is compressed, use the 'uncompress' utility 
		that comes with your UNIX system to extract the tar archive 
		containing the installation package for your UNIX platform.  

	2.  After the file has been uncompressed, use the tar command 
		to extract the individual files from the tar archive.  

		The following command are used to extract the files for the 
		different platforms:

			tar -xvf filename

		Where filename is one of the following according to the 
		UNIX platform:

	 		hp-ux10.tar
	 		irix6.tar
	 		solaris_sparc.tar
	 		solaris_i386.tar

		After the tar command has been applied, the installation 
		files will be extracted to the following folders according 
		to your UNIX platform:

			HP-UX10	
			IRIX6	
			Solaris_sparc	
			Solaris_i386
 
	3.  Once your files have been extracted, move to the corresponding 
		folder and read the installation instructions for your 
		corresponding UNIX platform.  A manual has been provided in 
		PDF and formated text for 60 and 66 lines.
